Annemarie has an extensive network in society, politics, media and the corporate world, in Consulting, Assessment and Development and Executive Search. Her focus is advising on diversity and inclusion (D&I) at board-level and female leadership through executive search.

Prior to joining Consultive, Annemarie worked as a political journalist at the Dutch national broadcast company NOS based in The Hague and Brussels. With over seventeen years experience in journalism and communication, Annemarie’s passion is to listen to people about what motivates them, who they essentially are, and consequently where they will be most effective. Annemarie is member of the LEAD – Leading Executives Advancing Diversity – Network and wrote a book called “De smaak van macht” (The taste of power) for which she interviewed five former PM’s of The Netherlands.

Annemarie holds a Master’s degree of Law at Utrecht University and a post graduate degree at Groningen University as well as certificates from University of Sydney and James Madison University (USA). Annemarie studied at the East China University of Political Science an Law ( ECUPL )
